Your General Houseplant Guide
Our inventory is constantly changing! Whether you're a houseplant beginner or a well-read plant parent, our boutique is here to help you find success. Below is a general guide on houseplants. Please note that some plants could cross over or work well in more than one category.
High-Light Plants
These plants should be reserved for the brightest parts of your home. They thrive in high-light conditions and love basking within 6 feet of a window. Bonus points if it's a south-facing window!
Examples Include:
- Croton
- Succulents
- Cacti
- Palms
Medium-Light Plants
As the true neutral category, these plants do well with indirect light and are best placed within a reasonable distance from a window. In rooms without windows, overhead lighting is a must!
Examples Include:
- Philodendron
- Syngonium
- Calathea
- Fern
- Alocasia

And more! This category seems to be a favorite among our plant babies.
Low-Light Plants
Low-light plants are perfect for the areas of your home with little to no natural light. These relatively low-maintenance options are tolerant to low-light situations. Because these plants use less energy and are slow growers, they tend to be easier to keep alive!
Examples Include:
- Aglaonema
- Sansevieria
- ZZ Plant
- Cast Iron Plant
- Peace Lily
